This Privacy Policy explains how Optimism (“we”, “us”, “our”), a small independent website design studio in Bangkok, Thailand, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit optimism-studio.com or contact us. We are committed to handling your information carefully and in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

When you complete our enquiry form or message us, we collect the details you choose to share, which may include:

• Your current website address, if you provide one
• The message you send us about what you need

If you contact us through LINE, your message and LINE profile information are handled under LINE’s own terms and privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this information on our behalf. It does not tell us who you are. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on any website using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

• Resend: sending the email that delivers your enquiry to us
• Sanity: managing the content of this website
• Google Analytics: understanding how this website is used

Some of these providers may process data outside Thailand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to deliver a project and meet our legal obligations. In practice we keep enquiry messages for up to 24 months, and project records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes. After that we delete or anonymise them.

This website uses Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
